Nowadays IPO hype has risen to the next level in context of Nepal.

IPO also known as initial public offering is an act of giving a company’s share for sale to the public.

IPO can be done during a startup or a already established company. Its main purpose is to generate income to do a startup project that has high potential or to generate income to develop an already established company.

IPOs are good source of collecting funds and also good source of investment at a cheap price for the public. But as with all investment it comes with risk too. Especially the startup IPOs can be very risky as well as rewarding. Its a digital age people can Fake IPOs and loot the money of the uneducated people who aren’t aware about IPO scams.Just investing on a IPO for just the hype can be very risky. Investor/public has to be very aware about what IPO to invest on.

Thats not the case with our country. My neighbors, relatives and friends.etc. they really don’t know the purpose behind IPO and they just jump on the hype train.thats whats been happening with Nepal.People are making Tons of demat accounts some even goas far as too make fake demats. Specially during this covid pandemic the banks are being busy and crowded. The broker offices too. They don’t have any financial knowledge and when i try to explain themabout it they just ignore and say “Malai paisa kamaunu sanga matlaab cha, company ley j garey garo”.This is the mental state of the publich ive made my family aware so yeah they dont invest on everything thats on IPO.With this mindset sooner or later its gonna hurt someone bad,so please share this post to make them aware about it.

IPO scene is too crowded so nowadays only luck is your chance to get returns.People say ipo is safe the government is allowing it etc.No the government takes commission and allows for the listing after that what happens to the funds its up to the company if they r scammer they can run away and live for life in other countries.so we just have to careful about it i know these things because ive invested in tons of IPOs AND ICOs so hope you clear your mind do some research and then think about investing.take care see ya
