Have you ever been asked about your passion, and you remained silent because nothing sprung to your mind?? Oh, absolutely, I have been through that phase of my life at a very early age.
Well, time flies in a jiffy. The time we spent yesterday can never be brought back, but can be captured via the lens of a camera. The camera is the beautiful creation of humans to capture real-life moments.
One fine day, my sister urged us to go shopping as a way to unwind from our mental unrest. Everyone would stroll around in a clothing store, but I would just peep outside a canon store and fantasize about having one. I would walk around and see beautiful streetlamps and a city full of dazzling lights, wishing I had a camera to capture the moment. Then I returned home with a sorrowful heart. I had whirlwind of thoughts of buying a camera, but I didn’t have a wad of cash to buy it. People usually don’t give priority to their passion, and so did I. After a few months of burning midnight oils, I eventually purchased a set of cameras with my money. That was one of the most proud decisions I’ve ever made. I was thrilled to bits.
Although photography was my passion at an early stage of my life, I only realized it until I was 26. I would hang a camera around my neck and walk through the streets and capture all the majestic beauty moments with sheer curiosity. For me, it was more like capturing emotions and adding life to the picture. I am the type of person who can literally go the whole nine yards to click the scenic beauty.
Beauty lies in the eye of the photographer. From the dew drops on the leaves to the big giant mountains, I see beauty in everything. Even if it is a barren land, I see flowers blooming all over. If the sky is overcast, I see a colorful sky painted with sun rays. Every picture contains a different side of the story. Some pictures are like an open book, while others hide their emotions underneath their skin. It all depends on how you perceive things via your eyes’ lenses.
Today, I am beside myself with joy because I feel like a free bird flying around, away from the hustle-bustle. In the midst of the chaos, I have a camera with me to lighten up my day. It has been joyous to my emptiness for what seems like an eternity, and nothing else can make me feel in the seventh heaven as it does.
We all have had a moment in our life where all our hopes ended up in smoke, however, we need to keep the ball rolling and keep our inner zeal alive. It’s never too late to pursue your dream. Do not make any decisions in haste. The time has come to mull over your own thoughts and dive into it. The deeper you dwell into it, the more you will discover a better version of yourself. The world is your oyster. I have found my happiness; it’s time to find yours.
