All the people in this world are in search of happiness, no matter whatever profession they admire for, whatever profession they admire for, whichever age group they belong to and in whichever continent they dwell. It’s very special moment to be happy. It makes hormonal changes in our body. But before all, it is needed to know what is happiness.
Although all people pursue happiness, the definition of happiness may differ from person to person. In fact, happiness is relative thing. One thing can make happy to one person, which may make sad to another one. So, it is very difficult to define happiness. It depends on the perception of the people. Some people become happy in tiny matter and some other postpone the station of happiness. They think that happiness is the station. They reach there and become happy. But that station becomes mirage. And, their journey for getting happiness becomes indefinite.
My feelings about happiness.
Happiness is our feeling. Nothing is good and bad in itself. Our thinking makes it so. Similarly, our thinking and perception towards the situation, subject matter makes us happy or sad.
Our attitude is the most important factor that makes us happy. If we have positive attitude, we can be happy even in our future, thinking that failure is the sign of success.
In most of the cases, we become sad due to our expectation towards people. We think they have to do this for me, why didn’t he bring the birthday gift for me? Why he/she said this to me, why not that and so on. To be happy we shouldn’t keep any expectation from others.
We change our mood according to the behaviour people are doing towards us. It’s our great fault. We depend on the people’s emotion. If somebody is sad, we become sadder. If somebody misbehaves us, we react more aggressively and even sometime we guess people are angry with us and we start to think why this, why not this and so on. Hormone of the body gets changed and harm different parts of our body. To be happy we have to save ourselves from the emotion of the people around us. No matter what sort of behaviour people around us show, we should be neutral and in constant emotion.
We people cannot forget the misbehaves of the people upon us. We repeat those events time and again and make it grieved in our mind. And, it goes on our long-term memory. That doesn’t give us to be happy. That’s why forgiveness and begging, apologise are the panacea to happy life. I have ever learned. Our mind and heart both become light and clear after forgiving and apologising with people.
Comparing with other people
No man is born alike. All people are unique, special and different. No need, two people have same career, choice of interest. But, knowingly or unknowingly we compare ourself with the other and start to become sad. We should avoid comparison to be happy.
We don’t value the thing we possess. We know its value when we lose it. We like
- Other’s Profession.
- Other’s husband and wife.
- Other’s family.
To be happy, we should love ourself first. We should love our family. We should worship our work. And only we can become happy in our life.
To sum up: We dream about bungalow, expensive vehicles, ideal state to be happy. But small thing can give an ideal happiness we could never imagine about. Love care for each other, forgiving, apologising, patience are the cheapest tools that give us instant and long-term happiness.
