There is a various cultural heritage which has to hold great historical importance and has its unique symbol. If we see in the older version and newly updated sites of 7 Wonders of the World, the magnificent beauty which we experience must be explored by every people who love to travel. Even though there are only the ruins which are present in previous wonders, but if we look into the new wonders there we can find something magnificent which we haven’t experienced in our lifetime.

Seven New Wonders of the world

  1. TAJ MAHAL, INDIA

Taj Mahal monument was built by the well-known Mughal Emperor, Shan Jahan. The monument was specially built for her beloved wife. If we visit India, then the first thing which comes up to mind is the Taj Mahal. The monument is a pride for India and can show the true epitome of expressing love. Taj Mahal was built in the early 16th century which became the crown of India. 

  1. CHRIST THE REDEEMER, RIO DE JANEIRO

Our next wonder of the world is located atop Corcovado Mountain, Tijuca Forest National Park. If we look at the huge statue, it is a statue of Christ the Redeemer which is built with a height of 700m. From the site, all of the city is visible and was built in the period 1922-1931. The statue does not just symbolize Christianity but the iconic landmark of Rio, Brazil.

  1. GREAT WALL OF CHINA

We all have heard about the Great Wall of China, which has a stunning look that would not require any further introduction. The wall holds within in a manner that will make a defensive position constructed with bricks, rammed earth also known as ‘taipa’, planks, stones, etc. The Great Wall of China was built in the 7th Century, and the reason was due to the Chinese trying to protect their region from other empires invading the land.  

  1. PETRA, JORDAN 

The next Wonder of the world is located in the desert of Jordan, if we are looking at Petra it is one of the world-famous archaeological sites which has been ever built. The Site was served as the Nabatean Kingdom’s capital. The place has its pride with the dazzling sandstone cliffs, and from those, all of the tombs and temples were carved. One of the most famous temples among them is the Al Khaszneh. 

  1. Machu Picchu, Peru

The next Wonder of the world is leaned high on the Mountains of Andes. All of the places are built out of limestone which is mortar-free. If we see and compare the wonders of the world, Machu Picchu is the most classic place among all. The structure was built early in the 15th century, from the early time the place was known to be a very famous structure that represented the Inca civilization.

  1. Chichen Itza, Mexico

Mayan ruins were a renowned structure, El Castillo was located in the city of Chichen Itza, the place was a great pride for the World Heritage Site which had a massive temple. The temple was built in a shape of a pyramid, which was specially made for the dedication of Kukulkan. The pyramid temple was built in a way where there are 91 steps on each side.

  1. Colosseum, Rome

If we are traveling to Rome, then the major tourist attraction site is the Colosseum. Among the 7 wonders of the world, Colosseum is one of the most iconic places to visit. The entire place is created with concrete and sand; the pace is known to be the largest surviving amphitheater in the entire world. The magnificent site was built in the period of 70 to 72 AD, built by the renowned Emperor Vespasian.
