As the whole nation has been traumatized by the pandemic, Itahari faces a lot of obstacles and hard times while coping with the people. Most of the people are working day to day to provide basic needs for their children and family. It is really sad to see the suffering of the people during these hard times. More than 20 people lost their lives and thousands were affected. My heart breaks knowing that the real figures are way higher. Many people who lost their lives in the village, city or home aren’t included in the death rates. Especially, when you know the official numbers aren’t real and the real extent of the damage remains unassessed and unpredictable failure of a government makes citizens feel that social media are more reliable than government agencies.
What a worthless life we are living ends in a box or bag no difference at all. The worst feeling life can give you is when there’s a chance to save your loved ones but the situation takes away that chance. Hell! Everyday some in the neighbourhood are dying, in the streets, not getting real treatment, fear of living, anxiety and depression, suicidal while piling the bodies real high. Sometimes it looks like we’re just a hair away from major hysteria. Everybody is scared and hopeless knowing they might be next in line.
We all know that the whole world wasn’t prepared for this pandemic, however our government never took this matter too seriously and was lying the whole time that it was just a common flu which will just go away by drinking hot water, or some silly home procedures. Bottom line, it looks crystal clear than our incompetent government failed to prosper and the helpless citizen suffered a lifelong serious trauma.
Much love and respect to the medical staff, careers and members of the public working incredibly hard to ease suffering.
