Yoga is a practice that helps to connects the body, breath, and mind. It uses physical that improve overall health. Yoga was developed thousands of years ago as a spiritual practice. Today, most do yoga for exercise or to reduce stress.  

Yoga is a mental, physical, and spiritual practice that helps in attaining a great mind, body and soul. It is not just another form of exercise, but it is an approach to the inner wellbeing of mankind. 

The COVID-19 pandemic has placed the world at risk of increased psychological distress and mental disorders with anxiety, fear, post-traumatic stress disorder. 

As the country battles, the Covid-19 pandemic on a war footing makes us search for answers and urgently needed for the very survival of humans. And it has raised up many questions on our knowledge based on attendant social and individual ways of life. 

People diagnosed with COVID-19 mostly, experience symptoms, including trouble breathing, headaches, nausea, muscle pain, and fatigue. 

Immunity is an essential requisite to facilitate the eradication of infections. In several cases of covid-19, disturbed immune systems seen as lymphopenia and elevated C-reactive protein levels are recognized as characteristic features. 

Hormonal balance is key to improving immunity and people with high immunity have a better chance of battling COVID-19. It seems that yoga benefits as a means to boost immunity, improve overall health and wellbeing. 

Yoga teachers and yoga therapists, in a different part of the world, have been working with COVID long-haul patients to help them to manage stress and pain, maintain mobility, and breathe easier. 

Throughout the world yoga practices are prescribed by different doctors, medical scientists, virologist even the scientist of WHO for boosting immunity. Scientific researches on yoga have shown that yoga practise (Asana, Pranayam, Kriya, mudra and Bandha) enhance the respiratory capability, muscular strength associated with the respiratory organ and boots up immunity power which is a requirement to fight covid-19.

As per Research, Yoga can help with Respiratory Recovery from COVID-19. Performing different types or styles of yoga range from mild to more intense could achieve greater success in fighting the novel coronavirus as it boosts the immune system.  

Systematic asana practices, devoted pranayamas, and meditation may help to create a broad-spectrum immune system in the body, preventing viral infection and/or reducing its severity.

People practicing Yoga regularly can expect to active a greatly enhanced immune response system and will not be easily affected by diseases, infections and other illness. 

Yoga, in general, calms our brains by activating our parasympathetic nervous system through various asanas, pranayama, and breath control, which “helps to relieve tension in muscles and joints as well as controls physical and mental difficulties.”

Unlike other forms of exercise, yoga can be easily done at home and does not require any equipment, making it an ideal fitness choice while social distancing or sheltering in place.

Yoga could be considered an all-around exercise that will take care of the body, mind and soul and practicing it has been known to be beneficial for all ages. 

Therefore, yoga helps fight stress, improves the immune system, flexibility, health and overall personality.
