The dates for Amazon’s prime day for this year have been fixed by the company. The sales event will last for two days from 21 to 22 June, according to Amazon.Earlier in April, Brian Olsavsky, Amazon Chief Financial Officer suggested that the sales event could be organized early this summer.The new dates for the company’s annual sales day has been fixed considering influencing factors such as the Olympics, and long periods of vacation in many areas during the month of July, informed Mr. Olsavsky.
The Company says it will offer over 2 million deals across every category of shopping such as fashion, beauty, electronics, home et cetera to its prime members. Shoppers are expecting promising entertainment benefits and unique exclusives across Amazon Music, Prime Video and Prime Gaming. Amazon Prime Day will commence at midnight of June 21(3 a.m. EDT) through 22 June.
The second quarter revenue of the Company has been forecasted to be between $110 billion and $116 billion, which surpassed the $108.6 billion projection of Wall Street.
