The District Administrative Offices of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur have decided to extend the lockdown in the Kathmandu valley until June 14. The lockdown comes for 10 more days, however some restrictions have been lifted.
The new order allows the grocery stores to be open until 9.00 am. The construction work has also been allowed and vehicles transporting construction goods have been allowed movement.
The goods transporting vehicles must run between 9.00 pm to 4 am. The vehicle workshops have been allowed to open until 9.00 am.
However, the restrictions on private vehicles movement and people have not been lifted. The public who have emergencies are allowed if they have vehicle pass or case-by-case basis if they have ID cards issued by companies like banks, pharmaceuticals, or for journalists.
