WhatsApp, the world’s leading messaging app, has announced that users will soon be able to login their accounts across up to four different devices. For this, the company has said that they will enable a multiple-device support system. The feature will be available in the beta version in the initial stage. The feature will come into full operation after evaluating the feedback in the beta phase.
Mark Zuckerburg, Facebook’s CEO, also mentioned that along with this multiple device support feature, the company is adding a “View Once” feature that enables users to choose to retain or remove messages once it is viewed by the user. He has confirmed that multiple device feature will also be fully secured and will have end to end encryption.
Further, concerns regarding the battery usage because of message refreshing across multiple devices, Zuckerburg has confirmed WhatsApp users that they have already found a proper solution to this issue. The development of the feature is now in its final stage and will soon be live for its user. With this, WhatsApp has now addressed this much-anticipated feature, one that already exists among its competitors.
