Richarlison who plays for Everton as a forward scored the first goal for Brazil and beats Ecuador with a victory of 2-0. After the victory Brazil stays on top of the South American qualifying group, the winning team will be playing for the 2022 World Cup Qatar.
The second goal for Brazil was assured by Neymar – Paris St-Germain’s. Neymar scored the goal by retaking the penalty due to the foul on Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City.
Brazil played of total five matches for the qualifier and has won each game which has qualified the team to enter World Cup.
South American group has a total of 10 teams in which they are topped the group board gaining 15 points from their past 5 games. Argentina is in second place in the group.
Getting into Ecuador, the team is placed third after getting victory over three games in the qualifying matches. The game was tuff where Brazil had to struggle to break the team, even though Brazil was winning the rest of the qualifying matches.
The first goal for Brazil was scored in the 20 minutes after the second half, scored by Richarlison where the Ecuador goalkeeper was not able to stop the angled shot near the post.
The deciding goal was shot by Neymar just minutes before the whistle blew. Neymar got a penalty after his first attempt was saved. The penalty was retaken after the referee pointed players encroaching inside the penalty area.
Brazil is having its next game with Paraguay on the 8th of June 2021 in Asuncion as Ecuador will be going against Peru on the same day.
