A park in Arouca situated in Portugal has unveiled a new bridge. The bridge is the longest bridge for walkers in the world. The bridge runs between two mountains in the Arouca Geopark, Portugal. The bridge is called ‘516 Arouca bridge’ as it is 516 meters in length. ‘516 Arouca bridge’ is a suspension bridge made of metal and hangs without support underneath. The bridge took two years to complete and cost 2.8 million dollars. The highest point of the bridge is 175 metres off the ground. The Arouca Geopark is famous for its beautiful waterfalls and rock formations and is one of the major attractions in the area.
