As a child, I always looked forward to the festive seasons. Those were the time when we would have a holiday of a lifetime. My father would drive 6 miles away from home only to have roasted chicken in a small local restaurant.
Those mumbo-jumbo talks about anything anywhere with anyone around were so much fun. I vividly remember one day when my little brother and I had to build a small house in just 10 minutes’ time with the Legos. My father would set the timer, and I would build a small town. My father had his feet in the air. How amazing childhood times were. I built a small town unwittingly and got praised by my parents. Not only praise, I got two chocolates. Well, getting two chocolates at the same time was quite a big thing at that point of time.
Today, we are all grown-up adults. We are way too tied up in our own life, carrying the hectic scheduled task on our shoulders, on the verge of building the precious and unbreakable milestones of our life. How nice it would even be if today our parents would treat us as a child and not grown-ups? How nice it would be if there was no comparison amongst us. Most of the beings fail to analyze the fact that everyone has their own unique features. We all are doing well in our lives. Everything happens for a good reason. Life is like a road led by straight and bumpy paths. The path we choose has got a major impact on ourselves. The flowers that bloomed yesterday will not bloom forever. It has its own way of spreading its wings and positivity for a time being. Similarly, good times are always ahead of us. It’s just a matter of time. Just wait for it, my friend.
