Netherland got themselves a huge victory on Sunday against Georgia 3-0. Memphis Depay, Wout Weghorst, and Ryan Gravenberch were the ones scoring in the friendly match.
It was not certain about the situation, but Depay tucked away a penalty at the start of the 10th minute of the game even though Georgia completed the first half pretty well. However, Netherlands had a lot of open shots that continuously led their host to outclass their opponents.
After half time, the home team continued to attain the authority of the game, which was spectated by about 7,500 fans. However, the next goal was not so far when Weghrost got his first international goal doubling the score for the Netherlands in the 55th minute.
One of the youngest players who just turned 19 last month, Ryan Gravenberch, got a chance to react fast to head home a rebound which got Netharland their third goal in the 76th minute of the match.
The victory for Netherland sure did cheer up Frank de Boar (Netherland Coach) after an upsetting draw 2-2 with Scotland in their first warm-up game.
The Netherlands, in the second half, got back its control with Weghorst executing at its full speed after being taken advantage of in goal by Depay.
At the end of the game, Georgia came up with substituting Jaba Jighauri, the new player tried to get a score, but the shot struck the woodwork. It sure was a challenging shot for a 38-year-old Dutch Keeper.
