Myanmar’s deposed leader Ms Suu Kyi have been charged with the most serious case of corruption till date.
The leader has been accused of accepting gold and cash in bribes, which could sentence her to 15 years jail time if proven guilty.
The deposed leader faces six other charges relating to alleged imports of walkie-talkies
And inciting public unrest.
The leader was taken under custody by the nation’s military in 1 February when they seized power in a coup.

Since the coup, Su Kyi has been held under house arrest with little information of her current state except for some court appearances.
The military has accused the deposed leader of accepting $600,000 in bribes in a press release on Thursday along with seven pieces of gold.
