This week, heavy and continuous rainfall across the various part of the country has triggered the Landslides and floods. In this flood and landslides 11 people lives also including one Indian and two Chinese workers who were involved at a development project has been killed. 25 people lives are missing as confirmed by the officials on Friday.
The bodies of workers were found in the town of Melamchi of Sindhupalchowk district which is located in the northern east part of Kathmandu, which was affected by floods on Wednesday and it has also forced many people in their homes as confirmed by the District Administration office of Sindupalchowk.
Ministry of Home Affairs has confirmed on Thursday that 25 people were missing in floods in Sindhupalchowk.
Every year heavy and continuous monsoon rains, which begin in June and last until September use to affects hundreds of people lives in mostly mountainous region of Nepal. It has also affected and damaged roads, bridges and has also washed away farms and livestock.
People have started moving their community shelters, schools, sheds and tents towards higher elevation as confirmed by the authorities.
